THE WAVE (DIE WELLE)

© Reinhard Winkler

Still hauntingly timeless, the story of THE WAVE takes us into the abyss of collective decisions and actions. The musical originates from the social experiment carried out by Ron Jones in 1967 to teach his students about holocaust and the atrocities of the Nazis. Despite the stern belief in unrepeatability the class soon turned themselves into a pro-fascist movement. The young ensemble admonishes us to be aware of the responsibility we have for our own actions.
