The SCHÄXPIR theatre festival for young audiences takes place at several venues, for which we promote public transport. Many of our venues are accessible by public transport.

LINZ AG LINIEN
All LinzAG vehicles are low-floor and therefore offer barrier-free access and (with the exception of the Pöstlingbergbahn and district buses) are equipped with an external vehicle announcement system for blind and visually impaired passengers. At stops on the Lin AG Linien network, the route number and final destination of the tram or bus can be called up via the outside loudspeakers on the vehicle by activating the hand-held transmitter for the blind. The electronic timetable information service is also popular with blind or visually impaired passengers. Anyone who has a speech recognition programme can call up timetable information or create personal timetables.

OÖ-Verkehrsverbund
The city and regional buses (low-floor buses, wheelchair ramps or lifts) operated by the Upper Austrian Transport Association and the majority of trains in Upper Austria are barrier-free. Accessible connections can be found in the timetable information of the Upper Austrian Transport Association on the website and in the OÖVV app.

ÖBB
The accessibility of Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) trains varies due to the diversity of the fleet and is therefore dynamic. Before travelling, it is strongly recommended that you check the current accessibility using the timetable information.
