DREHEREI

During a two-week residency at SCHÄXPIR 2025, the performers Sarah, Edith und Zarah examine ≫Zeit≪ (time). Is there such a thing as the origin of time or do we all live in the traces and remains of others? How does history evolve? Who is telling the story and in what way is it told? What changes by the story being told? What remains? What gets lost? What is happening in the here and now? What traces do we leave behind? We invite you to a travelling movement, that leaves traces - a permanent performance that touches upon the levels of temporality: past, now, future - a cycle: ≫Just as history knows no destination and always returns≪ (Elfriede Jelinek). In ≫Dreherei≪ we spin, we spin in circles, we hover, we sway and we get dizzy, time shifts and is overwritten by new time. Everything that arises in ≫Dreherei≪ arises with you, because of you, with us and with those who came before you.
