[Festival-Opening with Starlet Appeal

On Wednesday, the SCHÄXPIR Festival was ceremoniously opened with a starlet, acrobatics at dizzy heights and many magical moments. Governor Thomas Stelzer raved about the "most magical interview he ever had" and Cultural Director Margot Nazzal as well as the festival's management trio - Anja Lang, Julia Ransmayr & Sara Ostertag - were also carried away by Starlet alias Nora Jacobs and Aerial Pole artist Sophie Duncan. With "Do the Calimero" followed a touching and at the same time stirring festival premiere by the company LOD muziektheater & hetpaleis.

Participatory plays, productions for babies and their adults, divination workshops, tarot sessions, listening experiences, immersive virtual worlds that mix with reality - SCHÄXPIR presents theatre for young audiences on the pulse of time in its 12th edition.
